Cortijo. Refurbishment and Extension

The project consists of the renovation and extension of an old farmhouse in the Andalusian countryside. The extension is organised as a single linear floor, using two types of barrel vault, differentiated by their width, which act as the module of the new construction: a smaller one for the service spaces and a larger one for the living areas, which also join in sequence.

On the exterior, several vaults project outward to form a covered terrace. A porticoed courtyard, acting as a pergola, serves as the link between the extension and the existing building.
