Horseshoe. Collective Housing

The project starts from the idea of a horseshoe-shaped building that acts as a transition between the street and the garden, preserving the green void of the plot: the horseshoe becomes a gateway to the public garden.

The structure emerges from the transformation of a wall into a beam; arranged in parallel, these generate a rich spatial sequence of structural and in-between spaces. The apartments are organised within these spaces, crossed by a diagonal visual line connecting the entrance with the corner window. The façade carries this structural logic through to the street, making the constructive system visible as part of the building’s urban image.
